As a nurse, based on your experience, what is the most determinant of health that causes maternal morbidity?
Julio Presendieu, MHA
The position and color of the “unsafe abortion” cause is clearly political. It is not the first or second or even third leading cause, but it is by far the most prominent. In addition, it is the least objective number, since many unsafe abortions are provided by health care professionals (a medical cause, not a pregnancy-related cause).
the issue of maternal mortality is a serious concern in any country in the world and i think the only way of reducing it rate is to train more midwife.
In Sierra Leone as an example before, the rate of it was relay high but because of the free health care introduce by the A P C government and by training of the midwife had reduced it percentage
though they learn to leave the COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKERS to empowered them as a body that have the know how to educate it people on the important of their health problems and given them the solution to change for the good
